The Saint George’s Parish Church is a Church of Ireland building located on High Street in Belfast. The original chapel of ease was built in 1816 on the site of the old Corporation Church.
Records from the Church Baptismal Registers have now been added to our birth database and cover the period from 1817 to 1870 inclusive. These entries include the Child’s name, Father’s name, Mother’s forename and Maiden name, Date of Birth & Baptism. From 1835 onwards most also include the townland or street in which the family resided.
Marriage records for Saint George’s are already included in our marriage collection from 1862 to 1921 and we will also be adding marriages for the period 1817 to 1832.
